Cougr Grader Series

In tackling the complexities of terrain, notably roadway embankments,  where debris accumulation beneath guardrails presents formidable obstacles, TK Industries presents its innovative solution: the Cougr  guardrail grader. Meticulously crafted with precision and expertise, the  Cougr adeptly addresses debris challenges along cliff sides, adjacent roadways, and in areas necessitating sand and vegetation control—where  traditional methods fall short in relocating debris behind the guardrail. 

The Cougr is designed to pull the debris buildup under the guardrail to the roadway side of the guardrail. It will leave a wind-row of material under the center of the skid steer where it can be picked up with a street sweeper, loader or other means of cleaning up the roadway.  

Hydraulic requirements remain at a minimum, 6-8 gpm, allowing the cleaning to be done at 1/2 throttle of the skid steer engine. Cougr removes the debris with a single cycle between the guardrail posts. Operator familiarity will only enhance productivity. Cougr provides the same productivity as the Tygr per day.

Safety is a large factor with the Cougr grader. The skid steer grader and operator primarily remain in the parking lane. Thus the operator and equipment are not in the traffic lanes greatly improving operator safety, while also allowing no lane closures.  Again, at half throttle, noise is also reduced for the operator.
